01Where do Skin Radar prices come from?

Prices are calculated from aggregate market data supplied by CSGOSKINS. The radar validates available cash-market signals, removes suspicious outliers, and keeps Steam Market pricing separate where available. Individual marketplace prices are not published.

02How often are prices updated?

The server synchronizes prices in the background, normally every five minutes. Pages load the latest completed database snapshot, so opening or refreshing the site does not trigger a full API scan.

03Why is a price marked as verifying or unavailable?

The item may not have enough recent, consistent market sources to produce a verified radar price. Skin Radar keeps uncertain one-market spikes away from alerts and waits for stronger market confirmation.

04Why does my inventory show N/A for an item?

The exact Steam market name may not yet match an item in the current price snapshot, or the item may be non-tradable. Non-tradable collectibles and items without a reliable market price are excluded from portfolio value calculations.

05Why can Skin Radar not load my Steam inventory?

Your Steam inventory must be public. Steam can also temporarily rate-limit or reject inventory requests. Confirm your inventory privacy settings, wait a few minutes, and scan again.

06What do 24H %, 24H $, and volume mean?

24H % is the verified percentage movement from the nearest stored price around 24 hours ago. 24H $ is the corresponding dollar change. Volume represents the aggregate market activity supplied for the item and may differ from completed sales.

07How do watchlist alerts work?

Add an item to your watchlist and configure its buy or sell thresholds. The background price scan checks verified prices and sends eligible notifications. Delivery timing can also depend on your email provider.

08Why did I not receive an alert for a large price spike?

Unverified spikes are deliberately blocked. A single abnormal listing or unsupported source must not trigger a notification. Also check your email address, notification settings, threshold, and spam folder.

09Is signing in with Steam safe?

Authentication uses Steam OpenID. Skin Radar receives your public Steam identity and never receives or stores your Steam password. Always confirm that the login page is on Steam's official domain.

10Does Skin Radar buy, sell, hold, or trade skins?

No. Skin Radar is a market analytics, portfolio, and alert service. It does not operate a marketplace, hold user funds, transfer skins, or provide financial advice.

11What are the watchlist limits?

The free plan supports a small active watchlist. Plus and Pro plans provide larger watchlists and additional history or alert features. Current limits are shown on the Membership page.

12How do I report a wrong price or technical problem?

Open the Feedback page while signed in, add a clear title, and include the item name, page URL, expected behavior, and what you observed. You can track the response and status on the same page.
